Porsche is unveiling its second all-electric model, the new Macan, marking a milestone in electric SUV innovation. With powertrains delivering up to 470 kW (639 PS), the Macan Electric Models boast impressive E-Performance, combining sports-car-like capabilities with high-performance fast charging up to 270 kW. The WLTP figures reveal an electric range between 516 and 613 km, making it a versatile and sustainable choice for everyday use.

Celebrating a decade since its debut, the Porsche Macan enters its second generation as an all-electric SUV, featuring a progressive design, characteristic Porsche performance, and extended driving range. Oliver Blume, Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche AG, highlighted the Macan's elevation to new heights during its world premiere in Singapore.

Jörg Kerner, Vice President Product Line Macan, emphasized Porsche's commitment to delivering the sportiest electric model in its segment. The Macan features the latest generation of permanently-excited PSM electric motors, achieving top-class E-Performance. The Macan 4 produces up to 300 kW (408 PS), while the Macan Turbo boasts an impressive 470 kW (639 PS), ensuring exceptional driving performance with acceleration times of 5.2 and 3.3 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h, respectively.

The Macan's design combines Porsche's DNA with aerodynamics optimized for range, featuring active and passive aerodynamic elements. The interior is both practical and luxurious, with increased luggage space and a high degree of customizability. The new-generation display and operating concept, along with the use of ecological materials, highlight Porsche's commitment to a premium driving experience.

The Macan's electric motors draw power from a 100 kWh lithium-ion battery on the newly developed Premium Platform Electric (PPE) with 800-volt architecture. With fast-charging capabilities, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 21 minutes. The Macan also features an Integrated Power Box (IPB) for enhanced efficiency, contributing to a combined WLTP range of up to 613 km in the Macan 4 and up to 591 km in the Macan Turbo.

Equipped with cutting-edge technology, the Macan features up to three screens, including a 12.6-inch curved-design instrument cluster and a 10.9-inch central display. The infotainment system, based on Android Automotive OS, includes the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) for lightning-fast voice assistance and a seamless user experience.

Porsche's focus on driving dynamics is evident in the Macan's all-wheel-drive system, Porsche Traction Management (ePTM), and optional rear-axle steering. With a net carbon-neutral production process at the Porsche Plant Leipzig, the all-electric Macan continues the success story of its predecessor, with deliveries to customers expected in the second half of the year.
